A prince from the Nyth Uchel mountains … a healer from the Oshtech desert …
Scornfully rejected by her desert lover and uncertain of her place in the world, Adonia traveled a perilous road to the fabled mountain-city of Nyth Uchel. She came to heal the sick and dying, but in the arms of highborn prince, Hel, Adonia found the answer to saving herself.
Descended from nobility, once great kings of Verdantia, Hel willingly bore the burden of his dying city and its people on his shoulders. Watching helplessly as a malingering evil attacked the very soil under his feet, he crushed his pride to summon help. He’d been staggered to discover the answer to saving his city and perhaps all Verdantia might lie behind a heavy fall of chocolate hair and shy brown eyes.
As their entire planet faces an encroaching black death, two seemingly disparate individuals forge a partnership of love and sacrifice that will alter their future forever. All of Verdantia will be tested.
Stand alone. Not a cliff-hanger. HEA 360 pages. M/F, Mild D/s themes, light spanking, and an over-sexed but sensitive prince with a hero complex.

What She Said…
Who has been the biggest influence on your writing? How so?
Probably the greatest influences on my writing have been three authors, J.R. Tolkien and his “Ring” trilogy; Georgetta Heyer and her Regency romances; and finally Joey Hill and her male/male romances. I love the fantasy and epic sweep of Tolkien’s books. I loved the romance and witty dialog of Georgetta Heyer’s romances and I discovered I loved the down and dirty sexuality in Joey Hill’s books…particularly her male on male romances with the strong BDSM elements.
If you were to have sex with one of your characters, which would you choose, and why?
Do I have to limit it to one!!! Couldn’t I have a menage with Doral and Ari? Or Tristan and Magellan? LOL Okay…just one…hmmm. Probably Eric DeStroia from Hers To Choose. Eric knows his way around a woman (as all the Verdantian men do) and while he is a confident, dominating male, he also has a playful sense of humor when it comes to sex. I find men who bring humor to sex to be immensely attractive. In addition, Eric genuinely LIKES women as people and sees them as his equal intellectually. He wants to be in charge, but is also willing to let his sexual partner hold the reins if that is what the occasions calls for.

Plot-driven erotic romance with intelligent, engaging characters and epic adventure. A happy ending is a given.
Tell me about your groupies–what have been your favorite fan moments?
I love the fans who tell me that my characters have become their book boyfriends. THAT puts a smile on my face. I also love the emails that ask me to write faster…they need a Verdantian fix. LOL
Every author has pitfalls in their writing process. Describe one of yours, and what you do to dig out of it.
My biggest pitfall is simply a lack of imagination. I try to come up with challenges for my characters to keep the plot line fresh … sometimes finding a new set of circumstances that will be interesting to my readers is difficult and I lose sleep. When that happens, I throw myself on the mercy of my author group. Those ladies and their devious, fertile minds always bail me out!
What was the inspiration for your latest release?
My husband and I were touring Yellowstone National Park on vacation and he commented about how it would be interesting to have a “mountain man” as a hero in my next book. Well…things just took off from there.
My mother always joked about her special place in Hell—just punishments for guilty pleasures. What guilty pleasures will send you to your special place in Hell?
Funny that you should call them guilty pleasures as my tag line for my books is: “Calorie-free guilty pleasures you will indulge in again and again.” Having said that, I will wind up in hell for gluttony and lust. LOL

I suppose this is cheating, however, this is a scene from Hers To Claim featuring the heroine, Adonia:
Arrogant eyes above a silky black beard flashed through her mind. She moved her legs restlessly, sliding them against the mattress and rubbing them together. One hand abandoned the pillow and slid to the small, hard bud of her nipple and gently rolled it between thumb and forefinger. Gods! The pleasure of that soft touch exploded in her clit. A small whimper escaped her mouth, and she abandoned the pillow altogether as her other hand crept to the soft folds between her legs.
The plumped flesh was already slicking with her moisture. She dipped her middle finger into her hot center and slid upward to circle her tender bud as pleasure coiled like a wound spring in her pussy. A firm pinch to her nipple and a faster circle of her clit, and her flesh spasmed into a series of contractions that shot pleasure through her in spears of sensation. Her back arched, and her legs split, thrusting her pelvis forward as though meeting the penetration of a hard cock. Her soft keen was lost into the pillow.
